Quilting Jetgirl Banner Needle Rocket

Yvonne of Quilting Jetgirl was generous enough to offer winner’s choice of any two (2) of her quilt patterns! You can check out her available patterns in her Craftsy shop HERE. I know which two I would choose–have you seen Tesselated Leaves or Triangle Transparency!?, but which two would you choose? Here is a peek at just a few of her patterns:

  1. Well knitting inspires me to sew and sewing inspires me to knit! I will be knitting a pattern and think “wow this would make a great quilt” … I guess I see life in pattern repeats!

  2. My inspiration for quilting projects is varied: beautiful fabrics and thread in colors both expected and unexpected, patterns found online and in magazines/books, nature, geometric floors seen when traveling, etc.

  3. I’m inspired by ideas and feelings. Often my starting point is that I want to make a quilt that feels peaceful, or happy. Or represents something like friendship or honesty. My friends Tom and Tori were getting married so I made them a double-T quilt. Sometimes I just want to try out a technique or see what fabric looks like in a quilt. Sometimes I see a quilt I fall in love with and I want to replicate it. I often get ideas and inspiration from other art forms such as painting, mixed media, and photography.

  5. A piece of fabric or a vintage quilt top can inspire me to create. It might not see me through the entire quilt, but it definitely gets me started! Great fabrics.:)
