  • XOXO in Toy Boat by Rashida Coleman Hale, Cotton + Steel Basics

Choice of Two (2) Quilt Patterns from

Quilting Jetgirl Banner Needle Rocket

Yvonne of Quilting Jetgirl was generous enough to offer winner’s choice of any two (2) of her quilt patterns! You can check out her available patterns in her Craftsy shop HERE. I know which two I would choose–have you seen Tesselated Leaves or Triangle Transparency!?, but which two would you choose? Here is a peek at just a few of her patterns:

  1. My job requires that every single little thing I do is reviewed by numerous people and I then have to justify and explain every decision I made and why. This leaves me feeling like I have to do something that no one can pick at, no one can alter or revise. It is my ability to pour my energy into something that belongs to me, even if I am making a gift. Not sure if that makes sense but in my head it does. Thanks! coudre at dmdrafting dot com

  2. I love to have a creative outlet, it is good for my mood and I think keeps me sane! I hope that my kiddos will enjoy/appreciate the things I make for them and love to be able to give handmade gifts to friends and family.

  3. I’m inspired by life – colors seen on my walk, joy in the smile of a friend, textures in the sidewalk. A very many things inspire me.

  4. For me it’s more of an uge to create something – anything – rather than something specific inspiring me. I guess the key factor though is always having the time to do it in.

  5. I like working with my hands and for me a lot of my creative is sparked by color choices. The way a blue light hits an actor on stage or the way the leaves in the fall look golden against a fall blue sky, etc.

  6. My inspiration is quite random. It might be something I see while waiting to take a cello home after a child’s lesson at school, a pattern in the pavement, someone’s quilt, the back of someone sitting in church or simply because I’m feeling a particular way!

  11. Lots of different things inspire me, I love looking through museum collections for unique color stories. The MET has an ‘artwork of the day’ feature I’ve subscribed too and has everything from painting to clothing for view online.
